Studies

Study: Landscape

Landscape created through the outcome of making folds. The landscape maintains a mirror effect where one half of the landscape is raised and the other half digs into the ground.

Study: Lines

A study dedicated to creating lines in a pattern, repetition, and rhythm. This being step one of the process, I explored how lines could bend and intersect to create similar yet different moments. The 2D lines were made 3D to explore conceptual inhabitable worlds.

Study: Motion

An exploration of a gamecube controller’s motion and the different ways the motion can be conveyed. The motion is carried out in a game simulation showing the character’s movement along side the controller showing the relationship between the two. Further study was made in the hand movements of the person holding the controller, the movement of the controller itself, the types of buttons pressed during that stage of the timeline, and how long they were pressed for.
